Brindle Historical Society

Brindle Historical Society was formed in June 2002 with the aim of “researching, studying, recording and/or preserving (when and where possible) the history of the area in and around the village and parish”. The members agreed that the Society “shall also be the forum for promoting the study and understanding of any historical or related subject that members choose”.

Today, we have close to 40 members from the village and surrounding area and meet nine times a year, usually on the third Monday of the month at 7.30pm in Brindle Community Hall.

Membership is open to all with an interest in local history or any matters historical. The society maintains a comprehensive archive to record local history and we are always pleased to receive new items and information to add to the collection.
