This year was affected by an unfortunate accident in January which prevented me from riding for several weeks, and even when I was back on the bike, I was less able to cover long distances for some time.
Consequently, the mileage is reduced, but I tried to keep up my fitness through walking more. For the first time I’ve included both sets of statistics below.

Above are my cycling statistics. I barely cycled in December due to ice at the start of the month, then rain and strong winds thereafter.

For the first time, I’ve included walking statistics. The graphic refers to running, but I don’t run, so ignore that. Interestingly, if I’d cycled for the 166 hours instead of walking, I’d’ve covered another 2100 miles, bringing the annual total to in excess of 6,250 miles.

This is the all-up version. I’m not sure how useful this is, however.

I did manage to extend my ‘cluster’ of Veloviewer tiles during the year (the green coloured sections on the map). It now reaches East to Sheffield and North to Walney Island and includes all of the Wirral.
